Burnett Arms Hotel Banchory

Went there for a bar lunch last Sunday, service was poor 4 of us ordered our meals, 3 came no cutlery, my wifes meal came about 5 minutes later the waiter said something up in the kitchen. Had to ask for mustard and vinegar twice. Then when we wanted to order desserts the waiter said the cook is finished his shift and was doing no more. We had been in the hotel since 1310 and the service was slow. We got our dessert after stating we had been in the hotel since 1310 and it was not our fault the service was slow. A man and his son in the next table had ordered tea and coffee, it came and they waited ages to get a cup and saucer. They were visitors from down south so were not impressed by the Scottish hospitality. The place was not busy. It looked though it was all young staff on duty who had not been properly trained and no senior supervision. After that not a place I would recommend.
