Anyone who has been to a Wetherspoons knows the general gist of what to expect. It looks like a pub your dad would have visited, with dark wood, leather seats and pictures of fish on the walls. Wetherspoons is also known for having no music. This one is a little smarter than most, although just as dark due to being situated inside a shopping complex with very little natural light. The menu is fairly stnadard, sandwiches, paninis, burgers, basic steaks and bbq chicken, and then the 2 for 1 meals such as lasagne, curry, chilli, fish & chips etc. The dessert menu has been bulked up a little recently, and there are healthier options for children. Drinks are very reasonable, and it is a good stopping off point for a cheap, hassle free and filling meal or swift half during your day at the Metro.
