This is a good old fashioned looking pub. The only problem really is that it's not the type of place that i enjoy being in. It certainly isn't the place for families or somewhere to go for a meal (i dont think they do meals). I like pubs which give of that friendly welcoming atmosphere and the travellers rest just doesn't seem to offer it. I'm not saying everyone should avoid it though. If you just want to go somewhere for a drink in a normal pub and you live locally then it's fine for that. If that's what you're in to then you would probably rate it more highly.
