Stephen started the business - Accounting Taxation & Business Services - in 1980. It is a business founded on personal references by the people it deals with, and aims to provide a flexible pro-active service to meet the needs of its clients. Running from home, means we are friendly and approachable, with a co-operative view towards working hours.

We aim to offer you an efficient and pro-active service. This means that we want to advise you - where we can - on your affairs before events happen, and not after. Communication is the basis on which we want to build relationships.

The first thing we try to do with a new Client is establish the foundations on which we can both work together to highlight, and resolve, any existing problems. We’ll offer ongoing advice and guidance on a wide variety of accounting, taxation and business services.

HMRC Let Common Sense Prevail...!

A Client is being reviewed by the Inland Revenue. There is no common sense in their approach to them. Expenses incurred in purchaing a lease are not deductible in the Profit & Loss Account - neither are they being added to the cost of an asset (thereby attracting a writing down allowance). So wwhat other expenses incurred in the process of carrying on a trade or business are not deductible either? I'll keep you posted...!!
