Handy venue

Located in the Meadowhall shopping centre, and easily accessable from the motorway and local road network, this Vue (formally Warners, at one time) cinema is situated in a very good location. Many times in the past we've been wandering around the shops and decided on the spur of the moment to go and see a movie.The screens vary in size, as with most multi screen places, but all are comfortable and well air conditioned to keep you cool or warm depending on the time of year. As with most chains, if you're looking for something which isnt a blockbuster or well known release, chances are you wont find it here.I've always liked places which offer late night screenings - and this cinema does that. You can pretty much guarantee if you go long to an 11pm/midnight showing it'll be quiet, but if you go at prime times, you should expect it to be super busy. Due to its location though, theres a steady amount of trade all day long.Food is typically ridiculously priced. Who in the world actually manages to eat all that popcorn? Even the smallest size is a bucket, and I dont know anyone who can get through a gallon of coke in the time it takes a movie to play either, but if you've ever been to a cinema before, you'll know the score.Plenty of on site parking too, so finding a spot is never an issue, and the whole cinema was refurbished around a year ago and is still looking good.
