What a joke of something they call a business. Cancelled 1st appointment, late 2nd appointment. Personality, service and appearance of the engineer was shocking, didn't tell me his name on arrival just said 'alright'. Made me feel very uncomfortable having him in my house, and I'm a full grown male at my prime, so dread to think how a young female would be feeling. The engineer just wanted money, he told me very little about the problems and the solutions or various options. So when I agreed to have it fitted, he quoted £300 :O. I didn't know any better at the time of the costs of ariel fitting so called up a letting agent and told them about it and they advised me to get rid of him and gave me a number for someone they use. I came up with an excuse to get rid of him, although they have a free quote he tried charging me £50 for a call out charge as he had already started work (which by the way he had only taken his ladder upstairs) so I said i'll give you £20 and you can take it or leave it. He took it. Called this other guy that the letting agent recommended who was a lovely guy who came round 1 hour after they had left and did it all for £55, he even made up some cables for me as I didn't have any. He showed me a lot about what was wrong which enlightened me to the fact that the skyforce engineer didn't care if i got signal or not but was just going to put it up, charge me and then leave whether the tv was working or not. So AVOID. Call a letting agent or a property business and ask them who they use. Get some real recommendations, and don't rely on google especially from businesses that have urls like www.arielfitting.com you will just get mugged off. That goes with all services to be honest. Good luck with your ariel if you are looking to have it fitted or fixed, be careful who you choose.

I would just like to say thank you to the guys at Action Aerials, I have been having problems with my TV for ages, but thought i had to live with it. After speaking with some friends, they recommended that I call Action Aerials. So I gave them a ring, didnt really know what I was asking for, I just told them about my picture quality. The lady I spoke to was really lovely, I wish I could remember her name so that I could thank her personally. She gave me lots of useful advice over the phone and arranged for an engineer to come out to see me. I think his name was mark or mike or mick (sorry, not very good with names). He gave me lots of options and explained why my picture was so poor quality in the first place. I ended up ditching the TV Aerial and having BBC Freesat added instead. I'm thrilled with Freesat and also with the service i received. I'm in no doubt that if any other company had come to see me they'd have just stuck another aerial up for me and it would have been the same old story. Action Aerials actually bothered to have brochures explaining everything and it helped me to make a decision without feeling like I didnt know what I was buying. The picture is now perfect and I had a great experience - I would recommend these guys to anyone - thank you.

You are offered a free quote... but don't be mistaken, NOTHING will be free. Their client interface is totally defective. First as others have mentioned you are made to wait and wait. So the fast service doesn't exist at all. The advertisement on the web says "We offer a Free Quote Service for our residential customers. One of our fully qualified & experienced engineers will visit your home and offer up to 3 options and prices to provide quality, trouble free reception." Well you will be charged £65 for the visit of this engineer. Forget the free quote. Then, unless you know your staff you may find that when a small cable has just got to be fixed, they will push on you something I believe I didn't need at all!!! I am now seeking remedy and I intend to contact Trading Standards. I feel very stupid as I am normally a very resourceful woman, but I let this guy proceed without stopping him in his trail. The bill...£191 !! I still have my old arial and I believe my reception was fine. I was installed a booster that I believe I didn't need and which is expensive. I am going to track this down, send them a letter under the DIstance Selling Regulation for Goods and Services and ask them to put my arial as it was when they first came. Apparently I have 7 days to do this in writing according to a consumer association. Pity it is the postal strike!! but I hope I will make it on time.. I could write miles about how their procedure at the 'client interface' completely fails if they meant to do what they say... but warning! Forget Skyforce Ltd

I sent an email one day, then the next morning i got a call to say what time the engineer would arrive, he arrived exactly on time and carried to work out to an excellent standard, leaving no mess behind. Excellent full, all round service and considerably cheaper than the local alternatives. Was very impressed and would not hesitate recommending them to my friends and colleagues.

It seem that customers are there for the convenience of this company and not the other way round. Appointment booked. Message left by company on day of appointment. Call immediately to confirm booking or we will despatch the ariel erector elsewhere. Very patronising and rude message. I called back. Too late. Re booked visit. Message left by ariel erector in the afternoon of the appointment. Needs to re book for the next day. No apology, just an officious and direct statement. I rang and told them to forget it. I am a highly bank trained professional salesman(retired). I would not touch this company with a barge pole. Unprofessional is not the word. They do not deserve any business in my opinion.

Had an 'am' appointment booked on Saturday 7th August. Called at 14:00 advised someone would call back - yeah right. Called at 15:40 and was told we were the next call. They called at 16:10 to advise no-one was coming - What a wasted day!

My husband contacted Skyforce on the 18th Jan and was told we'd be contacted the following evening with an appointment time for the 20th. On the 20th we received a call to say they couldn't make it and we had to go back on the waiting list. 23rd, phoned and offered appointment for following afternoon, which simply couldn't make, so offered, under protest a definite appointment for this morning, 26th Jan, with a call to confirm last evening. When I called in desperation this morning we are not on the engineer's list for today and are still on the waiting list. suspect we may still be here in a month. What a way to run a company!

we were dismissed as customers just after the recent high winds, despite having had an appointment already fixed up. My only conclusion is because the Co. now had more lucrative jobs
