We went to the spice lounge after reading positive reviews and hearing from friends that it was the best place in town. Friday night's meal was our first there and will be our last. The food was cold. The service was very rude. Our order was wrong and we left extremely disappointed in their food quality. The atmosphere is definitely upbeat and contemporary, though. Unfortunately, we found that was all we could say positively about it. We would not recommend this place to anyone else.

I recently dined at Spice Lounge for a special occasion with 7 other diners. We had a a mix of Indian vegetarians (no fish), fish eaters and full carnivores dining with us that day and everyone left the restaurant feeling very impressed with both the quality of the food and the service. Each dish was very tasty yet none of the flavours were overbearing. The high quality of the ingredients was also very apparent and nearly every dish was cooked to perfection. The seafood dishes were the most impressive, followed closely by the chicken dishes (Pepper Chicken Tikka and Punjabi Chicken Lollypops which are good value and are highly recommended) We found the "experience" of eating at Spice Lounge very enjoyable and different to most restaurants as the meal didn't follow the usual appetiser / main course format. Hence we appreciated the guidance of the waiting staff with regards to the amount and style of food too order.

I have moved from london to faversham just befor the spice lounge opened.the waterfalls at the entrance attracted me the most as the contemporary feel inside the restaurant maqde me feel like london. The service was bang on the food was presented in a way that i felt like just looking at it. the style the food was more than what i expected for a small town like faversham. I would definitly go back again. I can't think of anything better.
