Fowlescombe is a 472 acres mixed organic farm in the South Hams, Devon, England a couple of miles south of Dartmoor. It is the central part of what was once an important mediaeval estate in the catchment area of the Erme.
Visitors may stay in an architect designed four star self-catering cottage and enjoy the views and wildlife across the entire estate. Our organic farm has arable land, and extensive old and modern grassland on which we keep pedigree Aberdeen Angus and rare Irish Moiled cattle

The views are glorious, the sunsets fabulous. After dusk try star-gazing while you listen for owls and soak up the peace of our hidden valley. On walks on the farm see snowdrops, bluebells, orchids, hares, buzzards, barn owls, deer and much more, according to the season. You may even spot our resident families of badgers or foxes.

Meet fascinating and friendly farm animals including black Angus and rare breed Irish Moiled cattle, rare horned black and brown sheep, pigs, goats, chickens and ducks. Help feed the animals, watch Josh our sheep dog work the sheep, go pond dipping, and much more.
