Duvale Priory offers a friendly, enthusiastic and efficient service, with high standard accommodation in the beautiful Exe Valley, Devon.
Facilities
We have a comprehensive range of facilities such as holidays large and small holiday lets available. We are licensed for civil ceremonies. Our function room has the capacity to seat 130 guests. Bespoke catering packages. Home cooked dinner parties. Private parties – our most recent have included a ‘Rock and Roll' weekend and a Yoga retreat. Stag and Hen parties by negotiation. Trout fishing on site. Clay pigeon shooting by arrangement. Paint balling by arrangement.
Accommodation
Duvale priory has 4 self catering houses,which can accomodate up to 130 people in total.Duvale Retreat is the smallest sleeping 12 people in 6 bedrooms.Orchardbarn can sleep up to 28 people in 10 bedrooms,this property has wheel chair access.Duvale Priory can sleep up to 26 people in 8 bedrooms and lastly Duvale Barn sleeps upto 33 people in 12 bedrooms.We have recently added extra beds to the site to make the total capacity 120,please ask for more information.The properties can be rented out for weekend breaks,weeks,midweek breaks,what ever you like.They can be rented together with our function hall or on there own, the choice is yours. In all of our properties we do take well behaved pets at a charge of £50.00 per pet,maximum of 3 pets per property.All pets must be on leeds at all times,apart from in the garden of the property you are renting.
Fishing Breaks
Book a two night weekend break in Duvale Barn for up to 25 people and fly fish in our lake,catch unlimited rainbow trout of 3lb upwards.The lake will also be restocked during your stay.We will do the cooking so all you have to do is concentrate on your fishing. Our package includes breakfast,dinner and tea.Arrival can be Friday evening and departure 4pm Sunday,although we are happy to make alterations to suit yourselves,please enquire.
PRICES FOR 25 PEOPLE £5000.00.
PRICES FOR 20 PEOPLE £4750.00.
Smaller or larger parties can be catered for.
River fishing available.
Weddings
Duvale priory has grown in size over the recent years,we are licensed for civil ceremonies. We have our function hall,which can seat up to 130 people.We can also accommodate up to 130 people in our accommodation. You may have outside caterers in,do the catering yourselves,or we can do it for you.Our hall comes with tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, glasses so there is no need for you to hire any of these in,all this comes in our wedding package.With our venue the accommodation has to be hired aswell. Our hall has a beautiful lake side location.

we have stayed here for a long weekend every year for the last ten years, a group of 21 of us from university have our re-union here every year and the adults and kids both love it; beautiful views and great location; the house is old and rambling with plenty of space and the extensive gardens are great for the kids; there are great local walks where you can bring a picnic and a beautiful trout lake to walk around; the owner is very helpful and friendly and there are always plenty of logs for the open fire; we will be back next year
Perfect Country Weekend
I recently spent a wonderful weekend at Duvale Priory with 20 members of my family and friends aged between upper 60's and upper 6. The Priory itself is a large attractive and extremely well equipped building set in lovely countryside. The owner of the property is extremely friendly and helpful. Despite the difference in age everyone really enjoyed the weekend and I hope to be able to organise a further visit
Brilliant Weekend
Just back from a weekend at Duvale Priory. Lovely quiet rural location. The houses oozes rambling character and is brilliant for large groups looking for somewhere you can relax. It has a slightly shabby and faded charm, which adds to the experience. If you are looking for 5* luxury it may not be for you, but as a simple rustic and well equipped base in a beautiful area of the country you cant go wrong! Highly recommended!
