This restaurant is always busy, and rightly so. A brilliant location for a lunch or early evening meal if you fancy a stroll along the sea front. The traditional Italian pizza and pasta and desserts are well made and the coffee is great too. By far the best reason to go is their huge range of Italian icecreams which you can eat in or take away. There are traditional favourites like vanilla and chocolate and a few surprises. The sorbets are also excellent, especially the lemon. They are open into the evening. Not ideal for a romantic dinner but for a family, definately worth a try.

Verdis is the best place in the mumbles to catch up with friends and family and enjoy a lovely view of mumbles bay. They offer so many different flavours and the menu changes so much you need more than one visit. On offer is a great italian menu offering pastas and pizzas for those out in the evening. For tose who want a light bite they offer smaller snacks with things like toast on the menu. Being an italian run cafe/restaurant means that the coffee is second to none. The tea is also good too. As for the ice cream, you will have to taste it to appreciate just how good it really is. Verdis is an institute in Swansea and their ice cream is famously great. Try the turkish delight - yummy!!!

Verdi is the Cafe with the best see front view of the Mumbles. Coffes, ice creams and desserts are really good. However this is not the right place for a good quality dinner.
