Podiatrists are sometimes referred to as foot doctors, they can help from offering basic family foot advice regarding type footwear, basic care of feet to alleviating ongoing foot problems such as fungal infections and ingrowing toe nails.
Podiatrists supply orthotics - tailor made insoles, arch suport and padding to relieve pain in your feet. The orthotic device is placed in your shoe, this helps the re-alignment of your feet or foot by taking pressure away from certain points, distributing pressure evenly, making your shoes more comfortable and there by alleviating pain in your feet, ankles, hips or even back.
Sian has been a trained holistic therapist for 8 years and, after studying at Cardiff Metropolitan University, obtained a BS (Hons) degree in Podiatry.
Sian is HCPC registered and a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (SOCAP).
She continues to advance her knowledge and experience; in November she attended a course for K-Taping - Kinesiology Tape.
