The host Availability Chart has been updated and is updated. June in particular is almost fully-booked, July/August is filling up fast, and host choices are getting fewer at certain times and weekends in the autumn (also Christmas/New Year), so if you need us to arrange a holiday home for your dog at these peak times, please get in touch as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.We've attached a few more photos of Welsh Borders dogs enjoying their Barking Mad stay during the last month - it's a hard life being on holiday ! If you value and enjoy the Barking Mad experience for your pet, please tell your vets and groomers & pet shops - they hear us telling them that your dogs are great, and that our hosts are great, and the service is wonderful, but we would say that, wouldn't we ! The thing that carries most weight with such people and gives them confidence to recommend us to other dog owners is to hear nice things from you, our customers. Please spread the word - thank you ! We are really sorry to tell you that we've had to call off the Charity Dog Walk Sunday 6th June - the planned venue unexpectedly cancelled out which was very disappointing. We'll let you know when something else has been arranged later in the year. Barking Mad Ltd has concluded a national partnership arrangement with Thomas Cook/Going Places whereby all Thomas Cook customers booking a holiday this year will be entitled to a free day's boarding for their pet(s) with the local Barking Mad branch. There will also be national publicity promoting the tie-up under the slogan "give your dog a holiday too !"Barking Mad is also the official pet-care partner for 20th Century Fox for the July 2009 DVD/Blue Ray launch of the blockbuster family film "Marley and Me". The Barking Mad website will carry a competition with the lucky winners attending a 20th Century Fox Premiere in London plus Marley merchandise and of course the DVD. We're running a parallel competition in local newspapers (Hereford Journal, South Shropshire Journal, Mid-Wales Journal & Leominster Journal) during the second or third week of June which will offer 5 free days boarding & transportation, plus Marley & Me DVDs and BM goodies to the lucky winners.
