Popular Cafe

This is a very popular cafe in Caerphilly. To be honest there are only 1 or 2 so it gets very very busy. It's in the shopping centre at the bottom where you can sit inside and outside the cafe. If you sit outside you can look out on to the castle. They offer everything from coffee to cakes and sanwiches/snacks. It is priced well and you get very good service in there. They also offer most items to be taken away. They do a wide choice of sandwiches and rolls. It is very busy but I would recommend popping in here if you want a light lunch while you are shopping. Not much room for children to run about but they do offer highcairs for babys

A nice little bakery/cafe in the Castle Court shopping centre opposite WHSMITHS. It is perfectly located just below the Castle, so it is great for tourists and visitors to the Castle. It is also just few steps away from the Caerphilly tourist information centre. It does tend to be very popular and hence can get very busy but it is normally worth it! They sell all the usual stuff including light snacks and cakes. Personally, I think that they sell the nicest ice slices in the world! My mum hates them normally but she always has to have one at Glanmors!Glanmors also have another little bakery only on the High Street in Bedwas just a few minutes drive away.

Review for Glanmore's Cafe

Service

There aren't many cafes of this type in Caerphilly but this would be at the top of any visitors list. It is actually situated on the Castle Court Shopping Centre and overlooks the Castle. They are open Monday - Saturday but could do with opening on Sundays as well. They serve the usual coffee and cakes but also do a lovely full English breakfast, beans on toast etc. It can be a bit pricey but the food and service is better than the local Supermarket restaurant. They also sell cakes, bread etc to take away.
