About

Snowdonia Driving School

Having over 20 years experience in teaching pupils from all walks of life, from 17 years to 70 years old, as it's never too late to learn to drive.

Passed all my qualifying examinations to become a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor, my experience gleaned over 13 years with one of the largest Driving School organisation in the UK, 'AA driving school' where I was the first franchised driving instructor to start in North Wales. I then decided to start up my own driving school back in June 2006.

Currently a Grade 6 instructor, the highest in the grading system. A large proportion of new work I get is recommendations generated from previous clients.

Tuition Vehicle

A truly amazing car... New Vauxhall Astra Design CDTi, which is replaced every 24 months, as well as being modern and stylish, the car has power steering and air condition, climate control.

Electronic Power Steering makes it easier for you to manoeuvre the car.

Climate Control ensures you're always cool and comfortable.

Pass Plus

Pass Plus is a scheme organised by the DSA to make new drivers safer.

It involves a 6 hour training course with NO EXAM at the end. The course covers such things as . . .

Motorway Driving, Night Driving, Busy Town/City Driving, All Weather Driving.

Upon successfully completing the course, generous discounts can be obtained from participating Insurers.

The discount should be more than cover the cost of the course.

As a new driver, you are more likely to have an accident in the first year after passing your test than at any other time in your motoring career.
Per mile of driving, the risk of an accident involving injury or death is about seven times greater for 17-20 years old than for those aged 40 or over.

Drivers under 21 are involved in 15% of all accident deaths.

New drivers make up just 10% of licence holders, but are involved in 29% of accidents.

Pass Plus is a scheme backed by the Government's Driving Standards Agency and insurers to encourage newly qualified drivers to become better drivers.

Pass Plus gives extra experience and positive driving skills that would otherwise take a long time to acquire.

Pass Plus consists of an additional course of six specially designed training sessions to follow on from a successful practical driving test.

Discount for block bookings - friendly, patient and reliable - computerised theory training - 21 years experience - grade 6 - dsa - pass plus registered - nervous pupils most welcome ...
