Pre School Welsh Language Nursery
Ysgol Feithrin Pontypwl offers Welsh medium pre school education for children aged two and a half and five years old in the community. We have a Parent and Toddler group once a week and we are registered with the Local Council and receive funding for three and four year olds. We are ESTYN, CSSIW and Mudiad Meithrin inspected and all 5 members of staff have many years of experience and appropriate up to date training. Ysgol Feithrin Pontypwl follow the Welsh Assembly Government Foundation Phase and our setting offers a wide range of age appropriate learning opportunities in a bright setting with an large outside play area and access to the local park. We work closely with the 3 Welsh medium primary schools in Torfaen and the wider local community.
