About

A family business established in Abergavenny in 1957, at McDonalds Garden Centre we produce and sell a wide selection of shrubs, ornamentals, fruit trees, bedding plants & perennials. Unlike many garden centres and nurseries we pride ourselves on an unpretentious and friendly service, at very reasonable prices.

Our in-depth knowledge of plants, seeds and nursery practices has led to us working with many schools in the Abergavenny area on garden projects, as well as supplying plants and the Christmas tree for the Abergavenny town centre precinct from our own plant nursery. For smaller projects we can create hanging baskets and planters to order.

We carry a wider stock than many larger garden centres and nurseries, including composts, fertilisers, pots and accessories as well as seeds and plants. For the vegetable gardener we offer an unrivalled range of seed potatoes, vegetable plants and seeds, including an impressive range of organic garden centre supplies.

At our Abergavenny plant nursery we are committed to environmentally sound practices including plastics recycling and organic production methods.

If you've had enough of garden centres and nurseries that focus on coffee shops and water features rather than plants and seeds, maybe it's time to call McDonalds Garden Centre on Abergavenny (01873) 853839.

a very well layed out nursery / garden centre with a vast supply of shubs and plants a positive centre for the gardener not a multi chain bedding plant one stop but a dedicated customer based garden centre value for money not overpriced.

McDonalds Garden Centre I am a keen gardener and love to grow my own vegetables too. I needed to get hold of some seed potatoes and also some advice on how best to grow them. I visited McDonalds in the first week of 2008 and they had just what I needed. I would highly recommend them to anyone; they are friendly and very knowledgeable. If you have never been there you could first check out their new web site www.mcdonaldsgardencentre.co.uk
