The beautiful village of Saundersfoot became an industrial port in the 19th century. The port was used to export iron and coal from the local collieries. While there aren't any more coal-laden coasters, the delightful resort has remained. As you walk along the beach, you'll notice many pleasure boats and fishing boats that tell of some of the area's main activities. During your stay in our lovely town, you can indulge in one of the local activities like fishing, tennis, bowling, and golf. Saundersfoot is dotted with excellent eateries that cater to every budget and taste. The town is set in the heart of Pembrokeshire National Park which is home to gorgeous beaches, woodlands, excellent footpaths, and rugged cliff tops. Whether you're looking for adventure or simply want to study the area's history, you'll find plenty to do.
