Restaurants in Stornoway

Stornoway

This is probably the best restaurant in Stornoway, but be warned to get the best you'll need to pay for it, this restaurant is expensive (for rural Scotland not a patch on London). The restaurant is very busy and you'll need to book well in advance, especially on weekends. The food is always good, but the menu does change from week to week. It is always locally sourced food, so you are guaranteed fresh lamb, beef and seafood all the time. The food quality is terrific but the food quantity can vary; sometimes you can get what seems to be a small portion, other times your struggling to finish. The restaurant is very well laid out and presented, a very modern feel to it. Definitely worth a try, but if you are only visiting Lewis for a few days then make sure you book ahead to avoid disappointment.
