My favourite place for a night out. The voda served is actually vodka as opposed to the other usual glasgow suspects who serve watered down spirits. This club always pulls is a nice diverse crowd as well which is always a nice change.

If it weren't for ABC Glasgow would really be lacking something special in it's nightlife. Not only is this former cinema a fantastic club, it provides the biggest music venue to launch in Glasgow's city centre since the Apollo.Spread over four floors, the ABC incorporates two live music venues, and four bars. The main room on the 2nd floor holds 1250...packed out on a Sat night yet still spacious enough to shake your thang on the huge dancefloor. There's also a wee smokers area outback if you require a fag break. The ABC also has the best in-house lighting and sound systems of any similar-sized venues in Europe, which completes your experience. Fantastic!

This venue is one of Glasgow's star attractions for the music lover. Unfortunately it seems to be one of the least used, as well! Bigger bands take to the SECC and smaller ones to venues like the Cathouse, but the ABC is definitely THE place for any bands in the middle. As another review mentions, the sound quality is really fantastic, unlike other venues in Glasgow. You can't fault the acoustics at all, I was actually very surprised when I first visisted. The place is always relatively busy when something good's on, and the crowds seem friendly enough. The city centre location is also perfect for anyone who travels in from around Glasgow or its various outlying villages. If there's something on here that you thought you'd like to see - just go!
