We are a newly established business, it is a small, private, owner managed Playgroup & After school club run by experienced and qualified staff. Little Scallywags prides itself on offering a well-rounded, stimulating and developmentally challenging environment for children attending our Playgroup, and our Afterschool, holiday club.

Little Scallywags Playgroup
In the playgroup your child will follow a pre-school curriculum specially planned and carried out throughout the term by fully qualified staff which will teach your child the skills required and prepare them for entering into Primary 1.

During the morning session your child can choose to take part in a wide variety of age and developmentally appropriate activities including arts & crafts, jigsaws, games, imaginary play, cookery or reading books in our story corner as well as daily outdoor play in the garden with their friends.

Children can attend the playgroup from the age of 2 years 10mths for their pre pre school year, and from September 2013 we will have government funded pre-school places available which enables your child to attend for their preschool year free of charge.

Little Scallywags Afterschool & Holiday Club
In the Afterschool Club our staff will collect your child from school and keep them safe, happy and busy until you finish work. After their afternoon snack, your child will receive individual help with their homework from a qualified member of staff. Then children then have the full use of a wide range of toys and equipment and can choose to take part in an art and craft activity, play games, run about and play in the garden, watch a DVD, play the Wii or just relax and unwind with friends.

During holiday periods and over the summer your child can attend and play with all the activities provided as well as going on outings, fun days, trips to the Farm, Zoo, local parks and Beach. Each week we will be providing a full range of activities to keep your child happy and busy all day. All you have to do is send a packed lunch and we provide the rest.
