Roys Bikes based in Studley near Solihull in the West Midlands has excellent reputation for all aspects of bicycle repairs and Roy has been building bikes for over 25 years. His philosophy is ' you get what you pay for' which in most instances are poor quality cheap imports that don't last 5 minutes. At least this keeps Roy in plenty of work, fixing and repairing the mass produced imports that might on face value seem good value but often break very easily leading to costly repairs. Roy also services Police Bicycles.
This is what encouraged Roy to start his mobile repair service consisting of a large van converted into a storeroom and workshop. Just about every type of component is stocked and for a huge range of both childrens and adults bikes. Many parents are both at work full time so trying to squeeze a broken bike into the boot of the car then finding a repair shop with the skill and knowledge to fix it not to mention waiting weeks and then having to collect it....hence the brilliant and unique service Roy now offers. Roys bike shop on the main Road from Studley to Alcester is not a showroom full of cheap gleaming imports but instead a small shop and workshop combined which has a small selection of both new and secondhand quality bikes.

Stumbled across this bike shop in Studley and decided to get my old childhood tricycle fixed there, so my son could get the same enjoyment from it that I had. It needed plenty TLC and a lot of the parts did not exist anymore. I must say Roy has done an outstanding job (much better than I could have hoped for)! New saddle, brakes, tyres and even a bespoke chain guard as the original part no longer existed. The bike rides as good as new and Jacob loves it. Thank you from a very happy 3 year old!

Roy came out to my home exactly when he said he would and fixed a few bikes that been sat in our garage for years. He also fixed my sisters kids bikes. Now we all have bikes to ride again thanks to Roy. Roy is very friendly and chatty and gave us some useful tips and advice to keep our bikes working, and for all the work he did the price was very reasonable. I would recommend Roys Bikes to everyone, I don't think you will get a better service. If I ever need any work doing again in future, or want another bike, I will be going to Roy. Very happy customers, thanks Roy.

" Made the mistake of going to Halfords today to buy a seat post for my 20 year old Marin Palisades mountain bike. The bolt wouldn't hold the seat in position on the old one no matter how much I tightend it. After measuring the seat post the young guy from Halfords told me what size to choose only to find when I got it home it was too big. I rang Roy and he told me to bring the old one round. He fixed it in two minutes flat and when I returned later to thank him and buy a new alan key, he went out the back of the shop and gave one to me free of charge. What Gent. I'll make sure togo back, he deserves the buisiness."

Never mind the fact that i bought mu bike off Roy over 2 years ago, a re-conditioned mountain bike, which has done no less than serve me well with no problems whatsoever... Yesterday i decided to pop down and ask to have a quote for the pedal bearings to be replaced due to wear n tear... His quote was unbelievably GOOD, plus the fact he did it on the spot, and i left after one hour feeling like my bike was as good as new again... I cannot reccomend Roy and his service highly enough, thanx Roy

I found out about Roys Bikes last Febuary after a glowing recommendation from some biking mates. They rate Roy as being a proper bike mechanic, fixing any type of bike and problem. He knows his stuff, which is more than can be said about certain high street shops. Tip top service, keen prices too!

Roy has been going for years, and for the first time, I have dusted of my bike, and decided to take it to Roy to be checked over. I knew that it needed a few things (that were hanging off!) He not only had the parts in stock which were high quality, but they were also exceptionally reasonable in price AND he fitted everything at no extra cost. I got both Shimano gears replaced with high grade Shimanos, Alloy bar ends, 2 bottles of tire sludge, and he fitted/installed the lot all for £49!! He's a
