Hartigan Arts is focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction - whether you are interested in attending one of our craft fairs or you want to commission a bespoke piece of work from one of our resident artists we will do everything we can to meet your expectations.

Personal service at Hartigan Arts

We pride ourselves on providing exciting new contemporary and traditional crafts, without losing traditional great quality personal service! Our customers are our premier focus. We love seeing you leave Hartigan Arts with a big smile on your face and will do everything in our power to make that happen! We don't do hard sell, we don't need to as we are confident in the quality of our items and we know that they will sell themselves when the right buyer comes along.

What we sell

We sell both functional and decorative unique, designer, contemporary arts and crafts, direct from the artists and craftspeople who made them! We bring in some of the best contemporary designer-crafters and artists in the UK every weekend to display their work to you, and even if you visit every weekend, you will always see someone or something new! In our first year of trading we have welcomed around 100 wonderful contemporary artists and crafters from the UK and beyond to our venue in Barnards Green - a hugely exciting attraction for a small Worcestershire village in Malvern! We have drawn visitors from as far away as America, Devon and Scotland to our venue, (just some of the ones we know about but we're sure we have had visitors from many other countries too!) and some of our crafters have even begun selling their work internationally as a result of exhibiting with us! We are very proud of what we do, and with the added bonus that all of our crafters take commissions and are willing to produce bespoke orders on request, we are absolutely the "go to" place for anyone looking to buy great quality hand-made art and craft at low prices in Barnards Green and the surrounding areas.

Why choose Hartigan Arts?

We were created by an artist/crafter FOR artists and crafters, and for everyone who appreciates quality items and enjoys learning about exciting areas of their culture that are often overlooked! The person behind Hartigan Arts is a former secretary of the Gloucestershire Society of Artists, which was originally set up in the 1920's to provide a base for amateur and professional artists to meet up and share their work. Now living in Worcestershire and a practising artist and craftsperson herself, she also has a professional background in international sales, and created Hartigan Arts with a view to bringing high quality art and crafts more accessibly to a local audience, and to encourage international visitors into the local area, and to support and encourage the people creating that art in the process. The Malvern area boasts a stunning visual landscape, which was created by a ridge of now extinct former underwater volcanoes. Malvern is a designated A.O.N.B. (Area of outstanding natural beauty), and the beauty of Hartigan Arts is that like art itself, it is forever developing and changing for the better. Like the landscape which surrounds it, Hartigan Arts provides artists and craftspeople with a solid foundation on which to build their career and also enables everybody to bring a little piece of artistic England and the UK into their own homes, whilst knowing that the money they pay for their items will automatically go to both the artists who created it and investment into the future of art in the local area and beyond.
