I rate this place with a single star because the black-hole option is not available. This goes right to the top of the top ten worst places I have ever eaten in. This includes the Angus Steak House , Leicester Square,(Tough opposition then) where I once saw them reheat a meal, after a complaint, salad and all. For those fans of the Honeybee then, do try it next time you are in LondonThe Honeybee, when we arrived, had food on the floor and on the seats.When my mixed grill arrived it was dreadful. Genuinely and completely dreadful !. The meat was off and had a genuine taste of animal excrement.I do not use those words metaphorically but as simple and direct description of it's flavor .My advice is to stay away from this place and stay healthy.

Less Good
I had really been looking forward to a quiet lunch at The Honeybee as I'd been there on many occasions and the food was great... Sadly since my last visit they have refurbished and somehow the food seems to have suffered!I ordered a chicken burger. After waiting 40 minutes it finally arrived and I asked the waiter "is this all I get" as the meal consisted of a single (very very well cooked) chicken breast swamped by a (stale) roll with a handful of chips a lettuce leaf and a single slice of cucumber and tomato. There was no salad or any other filling to the roll, just a single lump of chicken.I did eat the food, made slightly tastier with plenty of ketchup but I'm sad that I have one less nice country pub on my list.Finally, I was quite glad to be in the garden as the music in the restaurant was way too loud.
