Since opening in 2010 Modern Electric has quickly gained a reputation for work of a consistently high standard, in a clean, professional and friendly – no ego – environment. In it's new location since 2013 (just up the road from the old studio!) it's now the creative home to tattooists; Paul Talbot, Beth Talbot, Trawa Tattoo, Kerry Irvine and Samuel Finch along with regular guest artists from all over the world.
Based on a foundation of talent, passion for art and creative energy our aim is to provide high quality tattoos that you'll love wearing for the rest of your life along with the highest level of customer service, for everyone – from first-timers to serious collectors.
We are craftsmen and award winning artists who take pride in our trade and as such we use the latest techniques, best equipment and supplies available to give you – our customer – the best possible tattoo experience.

Amazing tattoo studio. Friendly staff. Great environment. Everyone will put you at ease if you feel a little nervous and will talk to you too, not blank you like some places. Iv had a cover up done by kerry. She has done amazing considering the conditions my old tat and my arm was in. My new tat of my rottewiler Leo look just like him and I can't thank you enough for doing him justice and for the work you still want to do on him to make him look even better. Would recommend to everyone who wants to get a tattoo. So worth checking this place out.
