The training we offer will cover every element to make you a safe rider on today's busy roads.
Our aim is to make you a highly skilled rider, able to make the most of any machine. We want you to have the knowledge to deal with any situation.
All our instructors are D.S.A. approved and trained to the highest standards.
We are constantly updating our fleet of motorcycles, but typically use Suzuki GS500's for Direct Access, and either Yamaha YBR125's or Suzuki RV125's for CBT and A2 licence courses.
For 16 year old's CBT courses we use Yamaha Jog 50cc.
We also continually update our "Bike to bike" radio systems, so we always have the best on the market.
We can supply you with a helmet, but prefer you bring your own.
great training, all the instructors are first class . thanks for everything

I decided to learn to ride a motorbike, not because I was having a mid-life crisis but because I wanted to learn something different throughout every year of my 30's. My next door neighbour had recently taken his Direct Access Course with Mark at Able Motorcycle Training and recommended that I try him out so that we would then get the opportunity of riding out on lovely sunny days avoiding all the busy traffic. Mark explained, very patiently, how the DAC would work, first having to take my CBT, which involved getting familiar with a 125cc bike, and riding around a playground to gain a basic level of proficiency before being followed by Mark out on the main roads of Frome, and then the Online Theory and Hazard Perception Test, before then practicing in readiness for the test. He took me through stage by stage and I thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday's whizzing around (within the speed limits of course) the Somerset and Wiltshire countryside. Not only did I pass but Mark gave me bundles of confidence which I have been able to use when I learned to ski as well. For anyone young or old, even those middle aged women not having a mid-life crisis learn to ride a motorbike, the freedom and exhilaration it gives is fantastic.
