The staff are always very friendly and the plants are well cared for. The garden furniture part is a plaesure to visit & inside - my favourite bit - the aladins cave of every thing your heart could desire for your home. See them at Christmas - you're eyes will light up! Its a pleasure tand a cavern full of delights for all ages o shop there - Oh, & dont forget the cafe & restaurant, the sandwiches are dribblingly gorgeous!

This garden centre is located just off the main A62 road Huddersfield to Leeds road, at Mirfield. It has a fairly small car park which gets very busy, particularly at weekends and seasonal times. As you enter the garden centre there are displays of ornaments, lights etc, not really garden related. You have to walk through this area to get to where the plants etc are. Many of the plants are outside and equipment, tools etc inside. Access is not particularly good for disabled as the car park is on a slope and it is the same in the outside area. The cafeteria is very expensive! If you are hungry when you are there then I would recommend you pay a visit to the pub, The White Gate, on the corner of the A62 just below the garden centre, otherwise you will pay extortionate prices. At Christmas the garden centre does put on excellent displays, but some of the items are more expensive than at other places. This is also the case throughout the year I find.
