Yummy Veggie Grub
Reasonably priced vegetarian and vegan food. A very extensive menu and some dishes can be made vegan on request. I can heartly recommend the vegetarian all day breakfast. It's a shame they don't do much gluten free

THE vegetarian cafe in Leeds
It's really hard to get a table at Roots & Fruits on a lunchtime. There's a reason, and not just because the friendly staff never rush you.With a reputation as the premier veggie eaterie in Leeds, you'd expect some kind of snobbery, but it's actually very welcoming, and nothing's too precious - you can have eggs with your cooked brekkie without getting the evil eye.There's a good selection of dishes on offer, although the prices are higher than other city centre locations you are at a specialists and the quality of the food reflects that.Would I dine here often? No. But as an occasional treat it's fantastic.

Food is always very tasty here. Staff are lovely. Portions could be larger, but that's maybe because it's so nice I always want more!
