Restaurant - Seafood in Worthing (West Sussex)

This is my 3rd visit, and have to say I am disappointed with the food quality... The lemon sole I had was tasteless, the scallops my mother had (a starter but asked for main meal portion) - were tough queen scallops and very few on her plate, which like mine - was covered in chips! The soft-shell crab starter I had was a rip-off price. Doubt I shall go there again.

Have eaten at this restaurant loads of times and the food, service and atmosphere has always been great. Food is excellent. My dad and I love the grilled halibut steak, whilst my sister would recommend the skate. Good value for money.

A lively atmospheric restaurant. It always seems busy and is a popular restaurant with locals. It boasts a simple menu of different types of fish, such as tuna, halibut and plaice which you can have flamed grilled, battered, fried or breaded. Chips, mash or salad can join it on the plate. Ive been to the Fish Factory about 10 times over the last 5 years and mostly the service has been excellent. The staff are young but experienced, friendly and efficient. The quality of food has generally been good with only a few minor hiccups. The last time I was there was for a staff dinner party. People seemed to be impressed with the healthy options of salad instead of chips. The flamed grilled tuna steak looked particularly good. My cod goujons were freshly prepared but my feta on my greek salad tasted like soap! Ive had the greek salad there numerous times and its never tasted like that before, hopefully a one off.I think the prices are reasonable for the quality you get. Its freshly prepared and there is a wide choice on the menu.

An expensive fish and chip restaurant - with excellent fresh fish. Service is friendly and efficient but there is no doubt that the food is overpriced. The chip quality is poor and when my friend asked for new potatoes instead (only slightly better quality), £2 extra was added to the bill. Its not 'value for money' - £35 for two (plus 10%) for one course, including soft drinks; will not be returning.

We visited on the spur of the moment and were pleasantly surprised by the happy ambience, excellent service and good food. Quality and quantity were very good although for a restaurant specialising in fish so near the seafront we thought the portions were a bit on the small side.Overall however accompanied by a good beer and followed by a fair sized pudding and coffee a pleasant experience for £35 for 2.Bob S
