The manager asked if everything was ok. When I suggested that 4 ravioli parcels might be a bit short he spent 10 minutes arguing with me.

Sadly we thought it ws worth revisiting Tosca as we enjoy Italian food immensely. The setting is noisy (swimming pool springs to mind - very unsettling) the insalata tricolore was good (but it should be, provided the avocado, tomato and mozzarella are fresh) the garlic mushrooms were swimming in oil and hard to find considering they were the main ingredient, the spaghetti bolognese was poor - the ragu was fatty and lacking in tomato and garlic but had plenty of pepper, presumably to mask the taste. the fillet casserole was terrible as it had serious amounts of chilli pepper and no vegetables (I asked if I needed veg/salad and was told this was not needed - they lost money there!!!). Service was negligible so no tip was given. We went home hungry...Don't bother - they need serious surgery

Very good meals had by all our party. Extensive menu, fast and friendly service. Wine good. Shame the restaurant can't be swivelled around to overlook the sea.

Visited Tosca for the first time this week. Food is exceptional, staff are very effecient & friendly. Had a fantastic smoked salmon & prawn starter, followed by a spaghetti vongole(clams)for main course, & cheese & biscuits for dessert. All washed down with a great house wine, and all very reasonably priced.
