The reliability of this company is a complete joke. We booked time of work to meet with them and discuss a loft conversion. No show and when we rang up he said he did not have us in his diary. So we rearranged and a man actually turned up and had a look and said he would send us plans of the loft conversion and we heard no more drom him for 2 months despite trying to contact the company on numerous occasions. We finally got an email saying this (quote) Thank you for your email and my apologies for not coming back to you. I'm afraid that we're extremely busy at the moment and this is unlikely to change for the foreseeable future. I do apologise but I felt it important to be honest as it would be unfair for us to propose. I hope you understand and wish you all the best with your project. Very best wishes, Vicky This was unacceptaboe after 2 months of waiting and i do not recommend this company unless you love being strung along and then Dissapointed. Probably would have done half the job then disappeared. Cowboys

We saw the professional looking website for ABM Building Services and their claims of Quality, Professionalism and Reliability. We decided to ask them to give us a quote for a kitchen extension, garage conversion and bathroom refurbishment. We emailed them via their website and two days later my husband received a reply to say that someone would be calling to arrange an appointment to visit. Three days later he received a call and arranged the appointment for the following Monday evening. Well, Monday came and went with no contact and no visit. When we contacted the gentleman who made the appointment to see us he said (quote) "I don't have no appointment in my diary". Considering it was the same person who called to make the appointment, alarm bells rang with regard to his organisational abilities. Against our better judgement we decided to give them another chance and re-arranged the appointment for the following Monday at 6pm. At 4.55pm my husband received a voicemail message to say that he couldn't make it and to wish us luck with our project. OK, so they called to cancel this time - albeit an hour before the appointment time. We had re-arranged other commitments to be available for both of these failed appointments. This, in my view, is totally unprofessional. They make quite sweeping claims on their website about reliability - their actions here are far from it. I cannot speak of the quality of their work - I didn't get to see it - but if this is a sign of how they run their business, I would go elsewhere. They fell at the first hurdle and are not getting up.
