DISGUSTED BY THE SERVICE

Went to Bellagio Restaurant in Dudley earlier in the week, to get a feel of this venue for future company events as it sounded so appealing on its website. However when I went to check it out on a lunch break I had to approach the one member of staff in a empty restaurant. The waiter/manager (one man show) continued to be reluctant to want to assist or work! I found him to be rude and looked me up and down as if I did not meet the clientele standard - felt like a 'Pretty Woman' moment, even if my Gucci bag was already on show. I over looked this and asked for a menu and a glass of Rose while I politely informed the waiter/manager that I will be sitting outside, and why not, anything to soak up the summer sun. 25 mins later and in clear view of me the waiter had not even gone to open the wine bottle let alone serve me it. I got up and though I know I should of walked and told him what for I felt that I had wasted enough time in this place. I finally understand why this place is always empty - with service like this. I am total applauded by this and feel the way that I was treated was not something I would come to expect from a restaurant which boosts about offering a unique dining experience. Needless to say that was a unique experience and one which I hope warns people from attending this place.
