Ian Brown 1 review in the last week- This is the second time I have had FGS do work at our home. The first time was to fit a 4.5 m X 4m re-roofing of a flat roof. It used to be of felt and pebble construction first made in 1991. It started leaking and eventually I got fed up of repairs. We got several quotes from traditional builders to FGS who we advertising a new “Rubber” roofing system. called EPDM. We were impressed with the manufacturers 50 year guarantee, many years past when I expect to be living in the house. Overall we selected FGS as the product was better than the old felt and stone finish. The EPDM roof was installed in one piece rather than in the 3ft wide sections, so there’s no chance of any part lifting like the old conventional materials. It took two days to install, the finish is magnificent from what we see from our bedroom window. This time we called Tim and his team to do our windows and install a new Conservatory. The Conservatory took three weeks from start to finish, the windows and doors in our home took three days. The out of the ordinary item was the wife’s desire to have one of the new Composite doors, but my front door is arched, so many companies wanted to charge over £3,300 for it. Tim at FGS only charged £2,000. The reason for it being cheaper was Tim is a time served Joiner and used to manufacture the PVCU arched doors before setting his own business up. This means for us, he saved the manufacturer a lot of cost in not sending a surveyor out etc. This, together with several other items he managed to do reduced our overall cost. The bifold doors fitted to our Conservatory really bring the garden into our home. We love it and cannot wait for the summer for BBQ season! Cannot recommend this company enough. From the survey right through to installing, FGS have been professional, honest and explained everything in layman’s terms. Thank you guys
