Dennis Kilgallon has 30 years experience of ceramics and sculpture, and has shown his work at award winning gardens at Chelsea, Hampton Court and Gardeners World. He has also displayed at the Grand Designs Live in London. He exhibits across the UK and Europe.
His workshop and gallery is based in rural Northumberland, at Kirkharle Courtyard which is the birthplace of renowned 18th century landscape designer Capability Brown. A visit to the workshop is always recommended as there is a greater range available and you can personally discuss any specific design requests you may have. All prices on the website include delivery whereas workshop prices do not. Commissions are always welcome.
They say don't look back. Yet the past has helped to form our present. Our memories, dreams, things forgotten or half-remembered. Emotions, mythologies and antiquity. All these things teach us to explore the future. A unique collection of contemporary and classically inspired sculpture. These figurative and organic forms are a strong vehicle for creating a personal and imaginative atmosphere in the home or garden. All sculptural pieces are individually formed, finished and produced in high-fired stoneware or bronze.
Sculpture of the ancient and the modern. On one hand a random event, on the other a conscious and purposeful placement. Sculptural pieces available at Kirkharle Courtyard Studio Commissions welcome. Winner of "Craftsman Magazine" Award 2002.
