Absolutely Avoid

This is my personal opinion:- I took my car to Berrylands Autocentre to have the disk pads replaced and a replacement off side ball joint two or three hours work. They welded the ball joint in place - total madness. Reassembled off side brake incorrectly so t was rubbing causing wheel bearing failure. Broke off-side calliper. Reinstalled near side calliper in dangerous condition. I returned the car three times but the garage failed to repair it properly. The owner of the garage charged me £100 extra for trying to fix their mistakes. Then told me to take it to another garage if wasn’t happy with their work. The near side brake seized up solid after a few hundred miles. I took to the Jeep dealership in Croydon. It cost nearly £3k to get their defective work fixed. Berrylands Autocare refused to refund my payment to them or the cost of making good. The owner even rang me up and said that they should have done the work because they had no experience of 4x4s... I have now have begun action against them in the County Court. As a garage they are a load of rubbish. Their workshops are disgusting. The fancy photo they have on their website is nonsense, all they have is loads of old cars. Absolutely do not take your car to this garage. Definitely don’t get an MOT there, they failed to identify failed rear control arm bushes had failed or the above problems...
