Rocking night out!
I have only been once, (my boyfriend took me as a surprise!) but am desperate to return! The decor is amazing, really fun and lively! The food is divine and the service was top!I had sea bass (2 pieces!) with gorgeous creamy mash and seasonal vegetables, it was to die for, my partner had the Ultimate Surf and Turf which he adored, a proper man's meal!We had a designated waiter who was eager to please (trying a bit much if anything) but it was good to be looked after and the drinks kept flowing! The prices are fairly high, but for the level of service and the quality of food you receive are definitely worth it!

Cool, Kitsch and Fun!
I went here for a private party and the loved it from the very first moment of walking through the door. The staff were extremely good. The owner Lorraine, used to run Sticky Fingers and it def has the whole rock and roll chick theme. You can imagine Kate Moss sipping her drink whilst chatting to Marianne Faithful about rock star boyfriends.I loved it and would really recommend this as a brilliant place to come.

Cocktails at Rock & Rose
We returned to Rock & Rose again for dinner, but this time started with cocktails at the bar. The friendly barman, Luke, was showing off a little - as barmen are known to do - and was happy for me to video him creating these delicious looking (and tasting) Cosmopolitans.

Rock and Rose
The decoration of the restaurant is either brilliantly kitsch or just tacky: a combination of black, hot pink and silver gothic or vaguely 60s type furniture and decorations including chandeliers, candles adn fariy lights as well as eccletic chairs and tables. The food is interesting. Not bad, infact very good in terms of taste, in particular the tuna, though, it would seem that the menu varies. However having ordered chicken I got it on...a piece of wood as did everyone else, this was eccentric and made the food hard to eat but I suppose the place is based on being dramatic visually rather than necessarily good. The music is annoying, the first time I went they played some awful covers of some brilliant songs, but many people wouldnt care.

Too Gorgeous!
Rock & Rose – this restaurant is bloody gorgeous!, the staff are warm and friendly, the surroundings decadent and stirring…. it's just a shame the food doesn't quite hit the mark!. I have been a few times now, and can only give the food an average 7 out of ten! (come of Mr Chef!, please try harder!). Unfortunately of what I've tried on the menu so far, there was nothing I could describe as “simply delicious†however, the restaurant is soo attractive, I'm afraid I am inline to become a repeat offender. It's definitely worth a look in, if only for a glass of champers or whatever tiggles you're fancy at the bar (and what sexy bar it is too!). I think the back room will a place to be in the summer months, it has a really relaxed, Mediterranean meets Moroccan feel about it…infact, I just might have to pop back in tonight!....

"Food. Passion. Glamour"
It is always exciting when a new restaurant opens in your area, and when it is owned by people who run a couple of other successful businesses in the vicinity there is a good chance it may be a winner - so we headed to Rock & Rose within two weeks of their opening.Rock & Rose use the words "Food. Passion. Glamour" to describe their shiny new restaurant and bar. The interior is alive with colour and a little bit of glamour - which makes a refreshing change from the usual bland décor offered by most modern restaurants. The velvet wallpaper was a big hit with our group, and the chandeliers and candles created a stylish atmosphere for a drink or a meal.Niggling complaints first - our table was too small for four people, it was a bit drafty, and a couple of the dishes we chose were disappointing. Those issues aside, we had a great night at Rock & Rose, and ended up being there for almost 5 hours, with no pressure at all to vacate our table. Service was very professional yet cheeky, in a good way.To start, we had the Ham Hock Terrine with homemade piccalilli, the Moules Mariniere, the Goat's cheese, roast cherry tomato & basil tart, and the Rock & Rose prawn & avocado salad. No complaints apart from the lack of prawns in the salad (there was only two).The boys had the Ultimate Surf & Turf for main course - Scottish Sirloin and Giant Prawns, while the ladies opted for the Rump of Lamb with dauphinoise potato, and the Scottish Salmon fillet with grilled scallops and saffron risotto. The lamb and the sirloins were good, the salmon & scallops were overcooked and flavourless.We pushed on to dessert - trying the Chocolate & Stem Ginger brownie, and the Apple Crumble. The crumble was reportedly delicious and the brownie was very tasty and I wished I wasn't sharing it. The quirky décor and the interesting menu will see us returning to Rock & Rose. Shame about the name though.
