If you are a caterer, serving staff, cooking food for the elderly or working in community care, looking after children, teaching others to cook or are an individual making homemade foods or cakes etc to sell, then you will benefit from having this Certificate. Location Individual or small friendly groups held in Kingston upon Thames Group bookings can be made within 20 mile radius of Kingston. The aim of the qualification is to provide basic knowledge of hygiene when handling food to avoid infection and illness. This Certificate replaces the old Food Hygiene Certificate which should now be updated. Who needs to have this Certificate? This can be done in one day or spread over 2 days The Course covers *Identification of different kinds of food poisoning. *How to prevent contamination and cross-contamination of foods. *How to store, prepare,cook and serve foods correctly.

This Certificate replaces the Food Hygiene Certificate which should be updated now. Suitable for anyone who handles food for others to consume- chefs, caterers, waiting staff, teachers, home care and child care workers, cake makers, home caterers etc. or addition to CV for job seekers.
