Tilford is one of the most idyllic spots in the Farnham area. This pub was great when I went on a sunny late summer day. If you sit in the garden you can be next to the stream and overlook wonderful countryside. However, it was a bit to pricy to eat there. I had a cheese baguette (with no added extras apart from some sparse salad) and it cost me £8! A tad ridiculous. The staff could have been more caring for the price you're paying as well!Overall, I would go back just for the scenery but I would not eat there again!

Went for lunch here with a friend - it was very full with mainly retired people. The two of us are not retired and went to discuss business. We found the staff very helpful and the food was of a good high standard - maybe a bit pricey - but enjoyable and well presented. Unfortunately from where we sat in the restaurant we were not able to look over the splendid green in front of the pub. It really is an idyllic spot for weekend cricket in the summer - but the restaurant is at the rear! It has a gorgeous olde world atmosphere and well worth another visit

This is one of the best locations I know for a pub, what really lets this place down is the staff the attitude is appalling it's as if they are doing you a favour in serving,we will not be going back till it changes. It's a real shame as I love this village, I was lucky enough to go to the great Sheephatch School which was up the road a tad..
