Mysterious winding path leads to the inn or drive around by road. Real country pub of upper class not cheap nice beers real ale freely available. In Camra guide? I think. Food good but not very unusual and pricey a bit.

Ideal country pub

Value

Dropped in here on Saturday for a quick drink, and found it to be both warm and welcoming. The place is perfect if you are looking for a typical English country pub, with a selection of real ales on tap. The barman kindly let us try a number of ales before we had to choose, and they didn't disappoint. Very tasty, I could have stayed for hours! Will definitely be back.
