Not so fantastic.
I went here yesterday and had fillet steak. The steak was ok and cooked the way I asked, the fries were lukewarm along with the peas. They didn't serve my drink and I asked if I could buy a bottle and have a bottle fee applied to my bill for drinking my own drink, which they didn't serve. They were not happy with this and along with the 1970s décor, it wasn't a good meal for me and I will not be returning to a place that dictates the drinks you can have !

I had a meeting in Croydon with suppliers and they wanted to take a few of us out “somewhere poshâ€The Croydon Steak House isn't posh but a lively conversation soon stopped when the steaks were served… all involved suddenly became very distracted by their food, which to my mind was a good sign.The owners have been running the restaurant for 40 years and the décor looks circa 1978 whith Anaglypta and faux beams; every time the door opens you look up expecting Del-Boy but this place does exactly what it says on the sign outside… Brilliantly
