Great food, extremely fast surface, and very good value. Nice atmosphere, and a contemporary and pleasant layout. Well worth a top recommendation - we will be returning very soon.

I love it!

I suppose many people will liken this restaurant to wagamamas, but if they do that, it just won't do Mizu justice. Wagamamas is a generic, built for profit chain based oriental restaurant, where as Mizu is specifically about taste, service and a wonderful experience. If you ever have the choice of the two, always opt for Mizu! The menu choice is so much larger and more diverse than wagamamas and everyone, especially vegetarians will find lots of dishes that they will enjoy. The service here is fast and efficient but with a smile. The prices are also excellent for the amount of food you have

Great fun quick and Easy

I often visit this restarant. Its right in the middle of the town centre square beside the main town hall. You can be sure, that you will be seated within a few minutes, because the service is so quick. The food selection is grea, a selection consisting of noodle selections, miso soups etc. Try the dish 46a, chilli noodles, theyre great. The staff are very quick to take you order, and rather keen to get you out after, so dont expect to linger on after your meal (although they dont liteerally move you off yourseat)Very good value for money, the place is nice and clean, and to upgrade this, you can try their sister restaurant Aqua 8 just round the corner....

This is a really good authentic Japanese restaurant. Having just been on a trip to Japan I was keen to have some Japanese noodles, and found this restaurant to be really authentic. The dishes were really big - more than enough food for lunch. I went for a late lunch around 1:30pm and the restaurant was not very busy at all, which meant there were several staff just hanging around but also meant we got served quickly. The staff also didn't seem to mind me asking to take the leftovers home to eat later (also delicious re-heated!) I would definitely recommend this restaurant, but not if you are on a budget!

Brilliant noodle-tastic restaurant

This is a great noodle bar. Extremely busy, food comes quickly - no time to hang about. Only ever been lunchtimes, and speed is it's appeal to shoppers and office workers alike.Brilliant menu, I never fail to over-order side dishes. Noodle dishes are pretty large so no great need for a side.I like the random approach to how you receive the food - basically, whichever dish is ready from the kitchen first. First visit quite confusing as I was expecting starters, not served with the noodles.Very clean and large upstairs opened on busy days.Have been for quick lunches and a christmas office meal - ideal as you don't have to mess around pre ordering from a prescribed menu.Excellent value for money - can't fault this place at all

Best Noodles in Ipswich

This is a great noodle bar in the middle of Ipswich. It opened late 2002 and has gone from strength to strength. Serving a range of dishes from the far east, the menu is fairly large much more options than Wagamamas, service is quick and the staff are very polite. The place has a real feel of a noodle bar with bench seating. Don't be fooled by the fairly small front room in the restaurant being busy as there is a much bigger room upstairs. Both my wife and I have eaten here on several occasions over the years and never been disappointed. We have also had private parties there.

One of my favourite restaurants in Ipswich!

If you like oriental food, give this one a try. A meal out here will give you a more authentic experience - food served with chop sticks by default (you have to ask for a fork if you would like one), the long tables, all meals served on gorgeous plates and ramekins.Very reasonably priced for the meals - i always get the Mizu Combo which is duck, chicken and pork with noodles in soy sauce with chinese vegetables for about £6. The menu is massive with plenty of choice for everyone. My only criticism is that the menu design is poor: you have to really squint to read it and its so packed that your eyes can't focus properly!Great for both intimate meals or groups. I had a birthday meal there once and they have a special side room with long tables - the service was excellent. The portions aren't massive but the food is so good it more than makes up for it!Convenient location, reasonable prices, friendly staff and great food.
