Door to Door Service

You will be picked up from your door promptly at the time agreed. Should I have any delay due to traffic congestion which is unavoidable then I will endeavour to contact you as a matter of courtesy. I always keep appointments and all lessons will be up to the time frame specified, making sure that my customers never lose out. I also pick up from schools, colleges and the workplace.

About Me

Hi I'm Sue. My love of driving began at a very early age. when I used to enjoy watching my Dad who always took great pride in his driving skills.

As soon as I was 16 I took to the road with a moped and started to gain experience and road knowledge. I took an RAC course and later became a trainee in road safety. At the age of 17 I took driving lessons and found an excellent Driving Instructor who was very patient and made every lesson enjoyable. I passed my test on the first attempt.

I have been driving for 28 years and have a very high standard of driving . I have continued to update my driving skills through various courses and tests, as I believe the learning process is continuous. Please see my qualifications below.

For me, driving is a means of freedom and independence and, now that I teach, I enjoy being able to pass on my knowledge to enable others to achieve the same freedom. My hope is that they continue to learn and expand their knowledge throughout their driving career too.

I especially enjoy teaching nervous drivers of all ages whom I encourage and I feel great pride and satisfaction when they pass their test.

Intensive courses

Intensive courses are flexible and fast track the learner to the standard required for the practical driving test.

The DSA recommend at least 45 hours practical driving tuition to give the learner enough driving experience, confidence and road safety knowledge for the best chance of passing their practical driving test.

The practical test does not necessarily have to be booked for the same week. By delaying it for a week or two you will find the pressure is taken off, you'll enjoy the driving course and have a better chance of retaining the knowledge. Some people prefer this system and reserve the latter end of the course for the week before the test.

Intensive courses can start on a Monday and finish with the test on Friday if desired, subject to availability, or incorporate a weekend.

Please note that the Theory test must be taken and passed before commencing intensive courses as the practical test cannot be booked until the Theory test has been passed.

All lessons are structured to meet with the requirements of the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) These are the people who examine you and give you your licence.
