We have visited Pizza Express restaurants in several areas of the country and they have always had a very high standard of food and service but this is the one that is our local and a popular choice with all the family when we are visiting the cinema or theatre they re always friendly and efficent and as mentioned in a previous review if given a time deadline will do their very best to get you fed and out of the door in time for you to get to curtain up (but dont try this on a busy night they are good but can't work miracles) Always excellent food, pleasant surroundings, efficent staff and last but not least clean toilets would highly recommend to all age groups I have Updated this review as have recently had a disappointing visit with very poor service after being shown to table the waiter did not return for our drinks order for 20 minutes and we didnt get or food for over an hour (the restuarant was quite busy but there were empty tables)

Having been to many Pizza Express's this one falls into the same category as the rest…excellent. The pizzas are always the best when you're after that home-made Italian thin crust. They offer unique toppings and have great variation on the pizzas on offer…better than the ones from pizza hut. They make the pizzas so that you can see them being prepared which makes those juices flow in your stomach. The service at this particular restaurant is good, with many waiters and waitresses around to service you, and to make sure you are not left hanging around when waiting to order or wanting the bill. Overall I would recommend it and plan on visiting many more times!!

What a restuarant. Staff are friendly and very helpful and always have that all important smile. Toilets are always looking good and its great in between courses to watch the kitchen staff make the pizzas, so make sure you sit in the middle. The location is great, in the high street and a favourite haunt of mine. Its also great when you are in a rush as if you tell them you can have a two course meal in under 30mins which is great. Decor is nice and there is seating for over 50 people, there is also an outside garden which is nice for the summer. Last time i visited there were some new staff who were still learning the ropes but im sure they will have adapted by now.
