BEWARE

Went here in a group of 7, for a wedding, for eye lash extensions and nails. One of us had her eye lashes dyed which did last until the wedding but not much longer. We told them we were having these treatments for the following Monday which was 2 days later, May Day so a bank holiday. Eye lashes didn't last the day. Nails didn't last for the bride's wedding 2 days later. We had to purchase our own false eye lashes and the bride had her nails touched up. I complained for all of us and told we should have gone back for re-touches. I explained that was not possible as we went on Saturday and the wedding was the bank holiday Monday so they were shut. We should not have had to have gone back that quickly anyway. We asked their advice and were assured the eye lash inserts would be ok for the wedding and possibly a week afterwards they might need some attention which would cost approximately half the original price. This did matter as we only had them for the wedding. One of us asked for her eye lashes to be touched up while we were there and she had not left the shop! I complained on the phone 3 days after the wedding as I live local and was told they didn't really have a manager so I phoned Trading Standards who advised me what to put in the complaint letter. I did as they said and one girl phoned saying she had never had any complaints before etc. She said the bride could go back to see her if she wanted. The bride lives in Surrey!! She refused to give a refund. They cost £30. In the end they did not care at all about us and I am not taking it further. Trading Standards advised me to take them to the small claims court. They must need the money more than we do but BEWARE. There are lots of salons in Tamworth so make sure you use others. They ignored my complaint letter. If family lived closer I would be taking it further. They do not deserve one star !!
