This is an OK place to go, not very tasty food, and way too much of it. Often not worth it when you get it.Also staff are rude alot of the time, the waiting staff anyway. However, the place for cocktails in doncaster, good selection and great to watch the makers at work!

Located close to the centre of town, this is an ideal spot for a lazy lunch. The staff are attentive and helpful. A huge plus to me is that the kitchen is open plan which is great if you like to know where your food is coming from and how the chef is treating it.The menu is extensive with everything from steaks, sandwiches and burgers to pizza & pasta. They cater very well for large groups and as the run up to Christmas begins, I expect to see many office parties turning up.As has been previously stated by other reviewers, the portions are generous. I can recommend the black & white pudding salad with balsamic dressing. It sounds a little unusual but is fantastic and one I have tried to reproduce at home. My only tiny critisicm is that it has been a little bit chilly on occasion so be prepared to ask the waiting staff to move tables if you go on a cold day.

Central Park came highly recommended from friends so our hopes were high. We weren't disappointed. There is a huge menu, everything from every burger you could imagine to great-looking curries and Thai dishes, with pizzas in between. I can vouch for the curly fries - they were lovely. The service is very good - this is clearly a well-run place that does a good trade. The food was delicious and quick to arrive. The atmosphere was OK, although the tables and chairs are a little bit utilitarian - you get the impression thay could hose the place down at closing time. There is a full bar so a great choice of drinks. They cater for kids very well - they usually get free garlic bread to nibble on until the main meals arrive. Oh, and they do jazz nights too.

Central Park is a restaurant on Bradford Row in Doncaster. It serves a wide selection of food with the main emphasis being on American style yet the menu is very varied. The food is excellent and the portion sizes huge. However if you go in a large group the round tables can be quite tricky as to accommodate you they push these together. If you're the person stuck at the join between two tables you can face quite a balancing act.The kitchen is visible to the customers which is not to everyone's taste as it can mean that the restaurant is quite loud however it does means you are able to almost inspect the kitchen.Overall this is a great place to eat.
