About Us

Highly skilled, with years of experience, Key Hand Locksmiths are on standby with fully equipped vans containing all the necessary equipment to carry out any lock service required within a 50 mile radius of Banbury and Oxford. Most emergency call outs can be completed on a single visit however some locks and casements or multipoint locks may need to be specially ordered due to the many sizes available today. If we have to order any parts or special orders we can normally return within 48 hours and complete the job.

Our Services

Have you been locked out of your property? Key Hand Locksmiths use non-destructive tools, and will only use a drill as a last resort. Where possible we operate a policy, known within the locksmith Industry as non-destructive opening, which means we will always attempt to use Traditional lock picking or other Industry recognised entry methods to gain entry. We will only drill locks or use other methods where it has become impossible or impractical to gain entry by using non-destructive techniques.

We offer a prompt and efficient service where we can usually gain entry with no damage to the lock and with the minimum of inconvenience to the customer. We work within a 50 mile radius of Banbury and Oxford.

uPVC Door Repairs

We specialise in PVCu and composite door repair and replacement gearbox units. If you are having problems closing or locking the door, it is advised that you attend to this ASAP as the result can be costly, as you might put too much tension on the inner workings (gearbox) and cause the unit to fail. Also, in most cases the door will fail in the closed position which means now the job is more involved, leading to further costs.
