We offer a broad spectrum of consultancy services to owners and custodians of all types of old buildings which go beyond traditional building surveys and encompass project management, specification and supervision of conservation repairs, design, environmental assessments as well as planning, listed building and grant funding applications.
Oxley Conservation are dedicated to sustaining traditional buildings through appropriate and sympathetic repair whilst still respecting each building's individual nature and special qualities. We believe that we have a responsibility to future generations to look after what we have inherited. Our aims are set out in full in our Code of Practice.

Independent damp and timber reports that identify and address the causes of damp rather than merely treating the symptoms,
We have a wealth of experience in carrying out structural and building surveys, including investigations of specific defects to buildings and detailed surveys of timber-framed buildings. Our survey reports are individually written and can include detailed photographs, illustrative drawings and sketch plans. We will also include specific recommendations on how to tackle identified defects along with general information about maintaining and repairing traditional buildings.
Oxley Conservation provide environmental assessments including improving energy efficiency of old buildings in an appropriate and compatible manner.
Oxley Conservation Ltd can execute conservation projects from start to finish including the design, coordinating professionals (e.g. archaeologists, materials analysts, painting conservators, services engineers) to researching buildings, compiling conservation plans, obtaining funding and planning consents through to carrying out the specification and supervision of conservation repairs.
We can offer advice on options for the sensitive modification of and for extensions to traditional buildings
We can submit grant funding applications, based upon experience of successful applications to the Heritage Lottery Fund, English Heritage and local authorities.
