I've got to back up the previous review. This bar is truly dire in every sense. Drink stocks and range are poor, the bar staff are badly trained and miserable and the management has to be experienced to be believed. Also only go here if you really enjoy inhaling and smelling of fag smoke - the ventilation's non-existent. With so much choice in Nottingham why subject yourself to this place?!

Terrible service
This bar has a wonderful room for hire upstairs - but I would never recommend anyone to hire it. We tried, twice. The 1st time we were informed we had been double-booked two days before our party. The 2nd time, after double-checking the same thing had not happened, another party turned up an hour into ours and we were forced to leave. The assistant manager informed us "the manager always does this". The room is free to hire but they make up for it by trying to get several parties in there together. So only hire this if you are willing to share... The staff are also rude and miserable!
