With its array of art galleries, restaurants and pubs, Warkworth is nestled in a loop, on the River Coquet, dominated by the impressive remains of Warkworth Castle and the mediaeval church of St Lawrence. Our accommodation comprises 2 newly refurbished double bedrooms with en-suite facilities, hospitality tray, TV, hairdryer, CD player and alarm clock. Our residents lounge provides internet access, TV, DVD and a fridge offering a selection of soft drinks, for a small contribution, with all proceeds going to The Royal National Institute for the Blind. In the dining room, guests will be served a home cooked breakfast from a selection of local produce. Private parking is available within a minute's walk. We are just a 15 minute walk away from a stunning, and largely deserted, sandy beach and only 7 miles from the market town of Alnwick with its famous Castle and Water Gardens. The area is perfect for walkers and cyclists and we can provide secure bike storage and packed lunches on request. Alternatively, John will be delighted to accompany any fellow runners on a selection of stunning countryside, river or beach runs.
