Welcome to Hall Meadows was built in 1888 for a wealthy merchant's son, designed to his own high standards, This is reflected with rooms with generous space and high ceilings, giving a warm comfortable feeling. Hall Meadows is set in attractive gardens away from the hustle and bustle of the high street, but central to all the local amenities, There are many lovely walks in the Haltwhistle area, including the “Haltwhistle Rings", these are 22 circular walks which start and end here in Haltwhistle.

For the cyclists the Sustrans bike trails criss cross Haltwhistle and beyond. Haltwhistle is the ideal place to stay for those who want to visit our most important attraction, Hadrian's Wall, and Haltwhistle is central not only to the wall but also to all the most important Roman sites, including Vindolanda, Housteads and the Roman army museum. To the east, there is the market town of Hexham with its famous Abbey, and a little further Corbridge with its little shops and tearooms and a Roman Fort and the vibrant city of Newcastle is only an hour away.
