About Us...
We are a family run business located in the large and busy town of Cramlington, Northumberland. We believe customer service to be at the forefront of our business. Founded in February 2010, due to the lack of performance bicycle shops in North Tyneside, we believed there was and is a market for a one-to-one service for everyone - from beginner cyclists to enthusiasts. We offer our customers a service above and beyond the bike sale.
Following a very successful first three years of trading, we moved to new premises in March 2013 which was formerly a picture house in East Cramlington.
We house a fully open operational workshop on site for servicing and repairs. Our mechanic, John Ferry, who has been with us since 2011 is a Gold awarded mechanic and specialises in wheel building (something of a commodity nowadays). We are always happy to give the customer a free quote before any work takes place. Every bicycle is built on site and we offer our customers a FREE 6 week service following every bicycle purchase. Our shop spans over one very large floor with more than 70 bicycles in stock at one time.
Father and son, Mark & Chris, are the owners of the store and are both keen road & mountain bike cyclists. They can often be seen out in and around the local area on their Giant bicycles. Mark in his younger days raced for his local club and has continued his love for this sport hence the opening of this store. Chris took up the sport a few years ago after picking up too many injuries playing rugby. We can assure you of a helpful and friendly service so please come and visit us very soon.

We're moving...
We are pleased to announce that CJ Performance Cycles is moving premises.
We will be closing on Tuesday 19th March @ 5:30pm and re-opening Saturday 23rd March 2013 @ 10am at the new premises.

Fantastic Service
Bought a bike from Cj Performance on the Cycle2work scheme. Staff were friendly and approachable. They gave me some good advice based around my needs rather then trying to sell me the most expensive bike possible. No hesitation in Recomending this shop to anyone!
